Your Life vs Your Life Situation

If you are feeling small, defeated, fearful, or weak… if you keep labeling yourself as good or bad, successful or unsuccessful… you may find grounding in a simple but powerful distinction: the difference between life and life situation.

I learned this from Eckhart Tolle, and it shifted my mindset. Now I can hold more space when things get difficult.

Your life is not your achievements, your job, your relationships, or your bank account. Your life is your being, your presence, your awareness, the aliveness that is always here.

Your life situation is what happens around you: the conditions, the roles, the circumstances. These can change in a moment. But your life, who you really are, is unshaken and ever present.

When you rest in life, you are free from judgment and comparison. You are simply here, alive, present.

Can you connect with your life, starting with this breath?

If you ask me who I am in one word, I say “Human”. If I should do it with two words, I say “Loving Human”. If I am allowed to do it in three words, I say “Loving Creative Human”

I create words, emotions, connections, energy and spaces.

I do that through coaching, writing, speaking, podcasting and training.
