Happiness at Work Together

You have probably heard about the big words: "The Great Resign" and "Silent Quitting".

There is a crisis in the workplace.

The majority are unhappy in their jobs. Many dreams of quitting and going on a world trip or starting their own business. Some want to ditch the work altogether and make big money in Crypto or stocks.

Look at those statistics:

  • Only 14% of employees are engaged at work. (Source: Gallup)
  • 73% think of actively quitting their job. (Source: Joblist)
  • 40% say they'd leave their job in the next 3-6 months (Source: McKinsey)

Now I have a question:
What will happen after everyone quits, the journey around the world ends, the personal businesses are started and running successfully?

Let me tell you.

The longing for community. The longing for meaning. The longing to create together something that did not exist before you came together.

Before you drop it all and leave, and then look for community, I want to invite you to recognize

that you DO HAVE A COMMUNITY.

Your colleagues ARE your community.

You have come together for a purpose. You chose this workplace for a purpose.

Yes, I know you have to work to earn money.

But you chose THIS company over others.

There was SOMETHING about THIS workplace over others.

And this SOMETHING is what connects you to your colleagues.

You have THIS VALUE or THESE VALUES in common.

Now the question is

What is meaningful to create TOGETHER?

These questions are not easy but they are VITAL.

You are a COMMUNITY. You came together. You are connected through common values. You all bring different talents, skills, ideas, backgrounds, and perceptions to the community, and together you are a source of abundance.

Abundance of IDEAS.
Abundance of COURAGE.
Abundance of STRENGTH.

You can find answers to difficult questions.
You can develop a HIGH purpose.
You can create MEANING.

You can find fulfillment at work together.

Recognize that you are a community.

If you ask me who I am in one word, I say “Human”. If I should do it with two words, I say “Loving Human”. If I am allowed to do it in three words, I say “Loving Creative Human”

I create words, emotions, connections, energy and spaces.

I do that through coaching, writing, speaking, podcasting and training.
