Do you like Conan O’Brien?

I already liked his humour in his late night show. I enjoyed his Netflix show where he was traveling around the world. But my love for him increased tremendously when I came across his appearance on the NPR’s Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me podcast.

The host asked him about the real story of how he got the job as a late night show host although he wasn’t famous.  And he told his story which was for me so inspiring. I got so inspired that I downloaded the sound file, cut it, made it into a video and wrote subtitles to it. Here it is:

I love this so much! That repeats a story I hear over and over again.

  1. There is someone that appreciates your talent and give you the feedback and sometimes gives you an opportunity
  2. You believe you need to do this, you believe in yourself and you commit to it
  3. It feels so scary but it is so important to you, you just do it no matter what
  4. It then becomes natural, you become what you’ve always wanted to.

So if you have an important thing coming up for you, you think you can’t do it? Choose delusion! Convince yourself that you can do it, (have a few drinks if you really need to – but jumping like crazy, dancing or meditation are healthier alternatives) and then go do it!

Love you all!
